Principal
I am honored to continue my professional journey at Coyote Trail Elementary! Since joining the Coyote Trail family and Marana Unified School District in 2015 as a 4th-grade teacher, then as Associate Principal, and now as Principal, I have had the privilege of working alongside some of the most dedicated and committed educators, students, and families. Through collaboration with these stakeholders, we have developed Coyote Trail into a nurturing and innovative learning environment that I am excited to share with your child.
Born and raised in Cheyenne, Wyoming, I frequently visited Arizona and fell in love with the desert. Now, I am proud to call Marana my home, along with my husband and two future Trailblazers, Emmitt and Elliott. My educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Special Education, as well as a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University. As a lifelong learner, I am always seeking ways to enhance my practice and leadership.
In my role as Principal, I look forward to continuing our mission of developing our students into inspiring, compassionate, and effective leaders while cultivating a community that is safe, respectful, and responsible. I am also eager to partner with families to support your child’s educational journey, recognizing that strong family-school partnerships are crucial for student success. Together, we will ensure all students at Coyote Trail Elementary will thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Thank you for partnering with our dedicated staff and me to blaze a trail for tomorrow’s leaders!
